As the domain name of this blog already gives away, my name is Kristof Claes. I work as an ASP.NET developer in Belgium. My spare time is dedicated to a few hobbies:
- Writing code
At work I have to use ASP.NET WebForms, so in my spare time I try to make things a bit more exciting by playing around with ASP.NET MVC and some open source libraries. I also try to blog about this, but I’m afraid I’m not a very good writer. Let’s hope that practice makes perfect. - Reading books
I’m a big fan of science-fiction books, specifically space opera. Peter F. Hamilton’s books about the Confederation Universe and the Commonwealth Universe are among my favourites. - Playing guitar
I don’t spend enough time playing as I would want to, but I really enjoy it when I do. I mostly play the accoustic guitar but I also have a Fender Stratocaster in case I want to make a bit more noise. - Photographing
I don’t do “artistic photographs” or “photo’s with a story in it”. I just like to take pictures of things that I think are pretty or interesting. Take a look at my Flickr page or my photoblog if you want to see some examples.
